Yorkshire-inspired feast for is an interior design brand specialising in high-end lifestyle designs for everyone, including us. We were delighted be asked to cater at their recent PR event showcasing the latest releases of furniture and fixtures at a supper club evening meal.

Taking place at the Redbrick Mill in Yorkshire, the event played host to an array of home, lifestyle and interior bloggers who began their evening with some tasty, Yorkshire-inspired canapés. For a total taste sensation, they enjoyed Yorkshire Tea Smoked Duck, Sepia Cracker, Soy and Beetroot Floss.

The evening continued with more mouth-watering canapés including a twice-baked Yorkshire Dales Wensleydale soufflé with apple, walnut and celery. A soufflé is a dish feared by many, but our chefs have a wealth of experience in successful soufflé practice and were able to confidently present this deliciously delicate dish to the knowledgeable bloggers.

For the final selection we turned to the rugged Yorkshire coastline for inspiration and what better than some delicious Whitby “scampi n chips” with tangy tartare hollandaise.

As the evening progressed, and the guests sat down for dinner, we introduced some interesting starters, continuing with our Yorkshire theme including Watermelon Carpaccio, Yorkshire fettle, Aged Balsamic and Arugula. Though an unusual combination, we perfectly managed the balance of this sweet and salty dish. The sweetness of the mellow along with the saltiness of the cheese played so well together to create this light, refreshing and delicious course.

For the main course, we introduced our famous picture-perfect, aromatic Nidderdale Lamb Rack “Rogan Josh” with Green Lentil Dhal, Cardamom Carrot, Grelot Onion and a fragrant Coriander Chutney.

We left the best until last and our dessert selection challenged our bloggers to break the shell and release the inner loveliness of their Forced Yorkshire Rhubarb and White Chocolate Sphere with Parkin Crumble.
